Hey Everyone— We’ve been busy as hell here at the mates HQ having moved studios. I’ll quickly fill you in. We have three main projects going now:
1. a new mates album!
2. a movie! we did the music for a short film awhile back for a director named marc brener called “Say it Ain’t Solo”. you can watch it here:

Then he wrote a script for a feature film and cast kori and i as the lead roles. So we’re taking acting lessons and working out all the logistics to shoot the thing in CT in October 2013. be ready….!
3. We’re gonna do the soundtrack for the movie too. (2 mates albums!
so it may seem quiet now, but it’s about to be loud.

Kori made a playlist for Track Wars which is an online contest pitting people’s playlists together, most votes wins. This week she is up against the defending champion J.E Skeets and needs some votes to beat him. start voting!
Happy Valentine’s day from Mates in Hartford at March for Change
We had posters hand-screened from a Team Boo-era sticker designed by Oona (oonasuzannah@gmail.com). The original color will be a limited edition, with only 100 printed.
We’ll have them for sale at all December shows until they are gone and then make whatever we have left available online.
