What happened to the days when Mates of State performed at a  VFW or Knights of  Columbus? Tonight i went to see Mates of State at the House of Blues in Boston. This WOULD have been my 5th time seeing them, and the first for my girlfriend, but things did not work out that way.

 I gave my girlfriend a SIP of my beer. I didn't buy her a  beer,  I didnt let her chug my beer, just a single sip  to clear her throat. And next thing  i know, were getting escorted out  of the  club by some bouncer.

I pleaded with  an officer to let my girlfriend stay. I even offered to let  him arrest me  in exchange for my girlfriend to enjoy her first mates of state show. But regardless of what i said, the club "supervisor" made both of us leave, giving me a bs story about their liquor license.

 House of  Blues Boston is a complete joke. Fine, dont earn massive profits on me purchasing SIX DOLLAR  cans of PBR.

Mates of State, if you are reading this, i plead you to stop playing at this venue. They are a bunch of jerks at HOB. Try the middle east club.They are much nicer there.
